The numbers in yesterday’s McClatchy-Marist Poll are fascinating. (via sciencevsromance) Were these adults asked if we should amend the tax code so that people who receive most of their income as capital gains (i.e., employees of hedge funds and private equity) get taxed at the rate most people get taxed at (topping out around 35%) rather than at 15%? Because that would be nice. |
